A woman from Bourbon was injured in a rollover crash on Highway KK Tuesday afternoon, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol. The patrol reported that at approximately 2:33 p.m., a 2005 GMC Canyon was traveling westbound near the 700 block on Highway KK when the vehicle went off the left side of the roadway, went into a ditch and overturned.

Three from Union injured in I-44 rollover crash
Three people from Union were injured in a rollover crash on Interstate 44 Tuesday afternoon, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol. The patrol reported that at approximately 1 p.m., a 2008 Chevrolet Impala was traveling westbound on I-44 between St. Clair and Sullivan when the driver Christopher Carwile, 28, lost control of the vehicle due to the wet roadway. The vehicle traveled off the right side of the roadway, hit a tree, and overturned.

Assistant fire chief Matt Tobben honored throughout Boone County and Missouri
A funeral service and tribute for fallen Boone County firefighter Matthew Tobben will be held this weekend in his hometown of Union, Missouri. Visitation will take place Friday afternoon, followed Saturday by a funeral with full service honors and a procession of firefighters and public safety apparatus.
