Artists invited to design library card

Great River Regional Library invites local artists of all ages to participate in a contest to design the next library card.

This contest, which will run throughout June, offers an opportunity for your design to be printed and available to library users across Central Minnesota, spanning GRRL’s 32 locations, including Elk River.

GRRL staff will decide on each age group’s winners. The artwork will be judged on creativity, design, and how well it communicates the message “Why do you love your library?”

Anyone living in Benton, Morrison, Sherburne, Stearns, Todd and Wright counties may participate.

Contest deadline is June 30. Only one submission is allowed per person.

There will be three winners in each age group: youth (ages 0-12), teen (ages 13-19), and adult (ages 20+).

Submit entries to the Elk River Library, any GRRL location or by mail at Great River Regional Library, Attn: Library Card Contest, 1300 W. Saint Germain St., St. Cloud, MN 56301. Designs may also be submitted by email to communications@grrl.lib.mn.us.
