Robin E. Hamilton
ONTARIO, Ore. — Robin Elizabeth Hamilton, age 60, passed away Wednesday, June 5, 2024, at the hospital in Boise, Idaho. No public services will be held at this time. Robin Elizabeth Kruse was born Sept. 9, 1963, in Mankato, Minn., to David and Arlene (Hankel) Kruse of Fairmont, Minn. She married Terry Hamilton on Dec. 25, 1982. She strongly loved and believed in family. She was an amazing wife, daughter, sister and Auntie to many nieces and nephews. She loved grill-outs with family, enjoyed going to fairs and ATVing with her husband. Robin was full of life, and lived it as so.

Windom's mayor issues update on city's flooding
Windom mayor Dominic Jones issued a flooding update Wednesday night to residents of that community. Jones noted that the Des Moines River was slowly receding, but strongly encouraged people to keep their sandbags in place as any rain can lead to an increase in water levels. Speech reflects on success at nationals
FAIRMONT — The Fairmont High School speech team returned from a successful trip to last weekend’s National Speech and Debate Association tournament in Des Moines, Iowa. Fairmont sent a team record of participants to the Saturday event. Team members returned with awards to close out the 2023-24 speech season. Some speech members are already looking forward to the next year.

Hanson, age 60, of Sherburn, Minn., will be held 10:30 a.m. Monday, July 1, 2024, at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Sherburn, with inurnment in the Sherburn Cemetery. Even if it looks like the rest of the house (some neighborhoods allow for that) it's still not allowed. So people just build giant 3 stall and tandem garages.
