Robert Ryan Dorr was born on July 31, 1954 in St. Paul, MN. He was adopted and came to live with his parents Dr. Warren F. Dorr and Edna Dorr Nelson in Jeffers, MN. Bob attended Jeffers Public School and Graduated in 1972 from Storden-Jeffers Public School. He went on to the University of St. Thomas and graduated with a business degree. He furthered his education at Mankato State.
