Welcome talks tree planting
WELCOME — The Welcome City Council met Tuesday evening and there was a discussion of the trees to be planted in Welcome to replace the ash trees that were removed this spring. According to the grant given Welcome, a tree should be planted for every tree removed on city property. Welcome residents have a choice of kinds of trees as long as they are not ash or maple. There are many maple trees in Welcome and the ash is vulnerable to the ash borer.

(ABC 6 News)- A New Ulm man accused of attempting to solicit a child has pleaded guilty to one felony charge. On Monday July 15, 57-year-old Roger Myron Yarger pleaded guilty in Freeborn County Court to one felony charge of engaging in electric communication relating to or describing sexual conduct with a child.

Guilty plea in Freeborn County child porn case, charges still pending in Blue Earth County
ALBERT LEA, Minn. – A man facing child porn charges in two southern Minnesota counties has pleaded guilty in one of them. Roger Myron Larger, 58 of New Ulm, pleaded guilty Monday in Freeborn County District Court to one count of engaging in electronic communications related to sexual conduct with a child. A count of distribution via electronic communication of material that describes sexual conduct with a child has been dismissed.
