Woman killed, juvenile injured after being hit by car in Phelps County
ST JAMES, Mo. — A pedestrian was killed and another was hospitalized after being struck while crossing the highway in St. James. According to a post from the St. James Police Department, a 31-year-old woman and a juvenile were crossing the roadway at about 9 p.m. Wednesday near the intersection of North Jefferson Street and State Highway B, located just off of Interstate 44. Police did not share the exact age of the juvenile.

Rolla man sentenced to 10 years in prison after he's arrested with fentanyl & methamphetamine
A Phelps County man arrested at a Rolla hotel earlier this year with fentanyl and methamphetamine is sentenced to prison. Joseph Imes, of Rolla, pleaded guilty earlier this month to first-degree drug trafficking and possession of a controlled substance.
