On June 28-29, the Friends of the Library Southport Oak Island (FOLSOI) had a special book sale of donated book collection to raise funds for our library branches. We were able to do this because of the generosity of Trinity United Methodist Church in Southport. We needed a large indoor space with easy access to the community, and Murrow Hall was offered to us (as a nonprofit) free of charge for two full days.
