Shallotte, NC USA
While on vacation to Holden Beach with my daughter and her family, we went to have lunch at one of my must do restaurants, Burg Dog. I saw this beautiful heart hanging on a bush as we walked through the parking lot. I knew it was meant for me. July 11th was my dad’s birthday and I had already been thinking about him and how old he would have been. There was a key attached. My maiden name was Key. Thank you to whomever put their time and love into this heart.

First Alert Forecast: higher storm chances to gradually cut heat
WILMINGTON, N.C. (WECT) - Your First Alert Forecast for this evening features a risk of scattered showers and a few storms. As rain chances continue to be high to close the week, expect daily temperatures to sink farther back toward or into the 80s. NOAA will release its drought report at 8:30 a.m Thursday.; it will already likely reflect some relief. Like last week, downpours could cause localized flooding at times and we could see one or two severe storms. There will be plenty of dry time as well. Shower and storm chance should gradually ease as we head into the new week. The friendlier atmosphere for storms in the Cape Fear Region will, thankfully, not translate to the tropics, as new development remains unlikely anywhere in the Atlantic Basin for the rest of the week.
