Champaign, IL – Police Investigate Two Separate Overnight Shootings
Champaign Police are investigating two separate shootings early Saturday that left three individuals injured. According to police, the first incident occurred at 1:19 a.m. near Main Street and Fremont Street. Officers on duty in the area heard gunshots and found a 42-year-old Rantoul woman with a non-life-threatening gunshot wound to the leg. She was taken to a hospital and is in stable condition. The shooter fled the scene.
