Chicago Man Arrested After Alleged Theft at Champaign Walgreens
Urbana, IL – A Chicago man was arrested Tuesday in connection with an alleged theft at a Walgreens in Champaign’s Campustown. According to University of Illinois Police, 29-year-old Geovontae Galloway was apprehended after officers responded to a shoplifting report at the Walgreens on East Green Street at 12:36 p.m. The store manager reported three men stealing merchandise and placing it in their backpacks.
