ST. LOUIS – Multiple shootings over the weekend in the city of St. Louis left at least two people dead and another person hurt.

Police say all three of the victims were adult men but no identities have been released yet. There are no suspects in custody in connection with this latest round of violence.

Police got the call for the city’s latest murder on Maffitt near Euclid around 5:30 p.m. Sunday evening in the Kingsway East neighborhood of north St. Louis.

Police from District 5 were rushing to that area for a call of a shooting. When officers arrived, they found an adult man had been shot.

Authorities say the man died from his injuries. At this point, the police didn’t release the age of the victim; they only said that the victim was an adult man.

About 12 hours earlier, around 5:40 a.m. Sunday morning, District 1 officers responded to another call of a shooting on the 3900 block of Eichelberger in the Bevo neighborhood of South City.

At the scene, officers discovered a 33-year-old man who had been shot in the arm and was bleeding heavily. Officers say they immediately applied a tourniquet when they got there to try and stop the bleeding. EMS workers took the man to a hospital.

Investigators say the man was going in and out of consciousness but did tell officers that someone in all dark clothing shot him. The latest we have from the police is that the man is in critical but stable condition.

Just before 2:00 p.m. on Saturday afternoon, officers from District 6 rushed to the scene of a shooting on the 800 block of Wall near North Broadway in the Baden neighborhood of north St. Louis.

At the scene, authorities say they found a 20-year-old man who had been shot unresponsive in the street. EMS was called and responded but the man was pronounced dead at the scene.

Again, police have not released the identities of any of the victims and there are no suspects in custody.
