Donna Adelson back in court as her trial in Dan Markel's murder nears
Donna Adelson was back in court Monday, although it was by video, for a case management hearing in the upcoming trial for her alleged part in the murder of Dan Markel. Her attorneys, Dan Rashbaum of Miami and Robert "Alex" Morris of Tallahassee, informed Leon Circuit Judge Stephen Everett and Assistant State Attorney Sarah Dugan of the motions they intend to file ahead of trial, currently set for Sept. 17.

This weekend's Seminole Showcase at Florida State will give us a look at FSU's future at QB
Florida State is gearing up to host their annual end-of-summer recruiting event called Seminole Showcase this Saturday, July 27. The camp is similar to FSU's Elite Camp it holds in June. It's a brief workout where FSU invites certain prospects in the 2025, 2026 and 2027 classes on campus to compete.

The two schools are embroiled in litigation against the ACC over the validity of the ACC’s bylaws and media contracts (including the “Grant of Rights,” the contract binding the member schools together). The goal: Figure out whether they can leave the conference early without paying nine-figure exit fees. FSU’s lawsuit goes a step further than Clemson’s in accusing the conference of negligence.
