‘Redheaded’ Golden Retriever Is Oldest Dog at 2024 AKC National Obedience Championship
Golden Retriever “Mila” (OTCH5 Highroller Crazy Red Head UDX10 OGM RE) is training for her fifth run at the 2024 AKC National Obedience Championship (NOC). At 11 years old, Mila will be the oldest dog competing. But her enthusiasm and energy for training and making new friends is still off the charts. She’s a very deep red Golden Retriever, so her owner and handler Pamela Guzman often refers to her as a redhead. “She’s also a very silly clown,” Guzman laughs. As for her call name? “Mila” is a Slavic term of endearment, used from a grandmother to a young granddaughter.

The Pathways Day Center located at 504 S. 15th Street in Terre Haute opened their doors for anyone in the Wabash Valley who needs to cool off. New Housing Development Being Built In Staunton
Clay County, In. – Officials from Thrive West Central and local developers held a ribbon cutting Monday for the new Clay Court housing development in Staunton. The development is located off Jefferson Street and will feature 10 new homes. Three of the new homes have already been built. The houses are being built in connection with Thrive West Central’s “Homes for the Future” program, which incentivizes developers to build new-age homes across West Central Indiana. The houses will cost at least $250K. Developers confirm that two of the houses have already been sold, and that they have commitments on at least two others. A&J Developers will be constructing the homes for the Clay Court development. All houses in the development will be on city utilities.
