Chamber Breakfast to Highlight Perry County Indiana Habitat for Humanity at Tell City Depot
TELL CITY — The Perry County Chamber of Commerce is delighted to announce its upcoming Chamber Breakfast, hosted by Perry County Indiana Habitat for Humanity. This event will take place on Thursday, July 18th, 2024, at the Tell City Depot located at 333 7th Street, Tell City, IN 47586. Breakfast, catered by Bill & Dave’s Smokin’ Pit, will begin at 7:30 am, and promises to be a pleasant networking opportunity for local businesses and community leaders.

CANNELTON — The Perry County Chamber of Commerce and La Bella Salon & Spa are excited to announce the Grand Opening and Ribbon Cutting Ceremony of its new location at 3310 E. SIEC receives $175,000 from Ascend Indiana to pilot youth apprenticeship program
INDIANAPOLIS — The Southern Indiana Education Center in Jasper will be the recipient of $175,000 to launch a youth apprenticeship pilot program for the surrounding area. The funds through Ascend Indiana, the talent and workforce development initiative of the Central Indiana Corporate Partnership (CICP), announced Tuesday the award of $175,000 each to four sites to launch youth apprenticeship pilots in their local communities.
Coroners Report
PERRY COUNTY —Coroner Warren Taylor had a busy weekend with multiple deaths that were considered tragic in nature. Taylor stated that it started on Friday when he was called out to a home for a 35-year-old male with a self-inflicted gunshot wound on 13th street in Tell City. The man passed away in his residence. The body was released to Zircher-Gillick Funeral Home.

She was born January 21, 1939, in New Boston to Hubert and Elsie (Friedel) Brinksneader; and married James A Strobel on June 24, 1961 at St. John Chrysostom Catholic Church in New Boston. She was a member of St. Francis of Assisi/St. Joseph Catholic Church in Dale.
