Mother of missing boy Elijah Vue asks judge to lower bond
MANITOWOC (WLUK) -- Katrina Baur, the mother of missing boy Elijah Vue, asked a court Wednesday to reduce her bail by one-third. Vue, 3, was reported missing Feb. 20 by his caregiver, Jesse Vang. Prosecutors say Baur sent her son to live with Vang -- her boyfriend -- at his Two Rivers apartment for "disciplinary reasons." Despite extensive searches, the boy has not been found. Baur and Vang face child neglect charges related to the condition of the home and treatment of the boy.

A male suspect taken into custody last Friday night for causing extensive damage to vehicles with a firearm in Two Rivers has been officially charged. Bail was set at $8,000 cash Monday afternoon for 33-year-old Travis J. Bowe of Manitowoc, whose charges include Battery and Criminal Damage to Property, each with Domestic Violence enhancers, Second Degree Recklessly Endangering Safety, Intimidation of a Victim, and Misdemeanor Bail Jumping.
