Man dies after being found shot in yard of St. Paul home

A man died after being found shot in the yard of a St. Paul home Monday evening. It marks the 13th homicide in St. Paul this year.

St. Paul Police Department responded to the scene at a home on the 800 block of York Avenue after the man was found shot just before 8:30 p.m.

St. Paul Fire medics were called, and while they attempted to provide life-saving aid, the man was pronounced dead at the scene.
