St. Paul native Suni Lee will officially have a chance to defend her all-around Olympic title. On Sunday she qualified for the finals in three individual events as well as the team final.

Lee earned the gold medal in the artistic all-around event in Tokyo three years ago. She will represent Team USA in the finals this year alongside Simone Biles. It will be the first time ever that two Olympic all-around champions will go head-to-head in the final.

In all-around qualifying, Biles currently leads all competitors with a score of 59.566, while Lee is second with a score of 56.132.

There are more qualifications to take place, but it's expected that Lee will also compete in the finals for the bars and beam.

The women's team final will take place on July 30, and the individual events will begin on August 1 and then continue until the 5th.
