First heatwave of 2024 features a blazing hot holiday weekend
That’s how I would describe the last few days. Brief morning clouds to afternoon sunshine, cool mornings in the 50s, then late afternoon temperatures up around 80. Just today I was thinking how nice it was; wondering why it’s necessary to jump those temperatures up 20-25 degrees. Unfortunately, that’s going to happen during the long “holiday weekend” Thursday through Sunday. Get ready for a scorcher folks! Tomorrow will be the last comfortable day for at least a week. Hot weather arrives later on the 4th of July (Thursday) and really ramps up Friday through early next week. After some morning clouds again tomorrow, skies should be sunny or mainly sunny for the following week.
