The Madison American Legion baseball team picked up a win in their first game of the Region 2B tournament on Wednesday afternoon. Madison Post 25 started the tournament with Sioux Falls Christian Post 911. The starting pitchers were the story of the game, as both Ben Brooks for Madison and Paul Hoekman for SFC went the distance. Each pitcher gave up a run in the 3rd inning, and the score remained tied at 1-1 into the 5th.
