Thousands gather for Portland Pride parade Sunday
PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — Portland Pride celebrations had a stormy start Sunday, but the brief downpour wasn’t enough to rain on the parade. The annual parade, emceed by KOIN 6’s very own Emily Burris and Travis Teich along with co-hosts Summer Lynne Seasons and Bolivia Carmichaels, went off without a hitch and some state leaders, including Oregon Governor Tina Kotek, were seen joining in the celebration.
Sneak peek at new PDX terminal set to open next month
PORTLAND, Ore. (KPTV) - FOX 12 got an inside look at the new and improved terminal at Portland International Airport, which is set to open in a few weeks. Hundreds of local craftspeople are hard at work putting on the finishing touches of the terminal. Ticket counters and art installations are in place, and local concessions are almost ready for business.

Evidently, NC State basketball product Terquavion Smith is on the prowl for a new contract in the NBA. The 2021-23 college standout guard, who led the Wolfpack in points and assists as a sophomore before going undrafted last summer, became an unrestricted free agent earlier this month when the Philadelphia 76ers did not extend a qualifying offer. He spent his rookie campaign on a two-way deal, in which he averaged 3.3 points across his 16 regular season appearances for the Sixers.
