10 to Watch in Paris Olympics: Woody Kincaid, men's distance running
PARIS, France — Former University of Portland runner Woody Kincaid qualified for his second Olympic Games where he will run the men's 10,000-meter race in Paris. Kincaid's first appearance at the Olympics was in 2021 when he ran the 10,000- and 5,000-meter race in Tokyo. This year, he will only be running the 10,000 meters.

DiGenova Signs National Team Replacement Contract with Portland Thorns
PORTLAND, Ore. – Temple women's soccer alumna Marissa DiGenova has been signed by the two-time NWSL champion Portland Thorns as a National Team Replacement player. DiGenova appeared in 76 matches with 64 starts for the Owls from 2017-21. During her career, she played 6,247 minutes and led Temple in field time in each of her final four seasons, including never leaving the pitch in 10 games during the spring 2021 season. While anchoring the back line for TU, she came forward and had her most productive year offensively with four points in 2019. Among her output was the game-tying goal in the 90th minute against Maryland on September 12 as well as assists in wins against UMBC and Wagner.
