Mesquite’s largest private employer is looking at making modernization improvements. UPS has been a part of the Mesquite community since the 1990s. At a July 15 Mesquite City Council meeting, Kim Buttram, economic development director with the city, presented a proposal from UPS to offer modernization incentives to improve its sorting and conveyor systems, as well as building improvements at a UPS facility located at 4200 Samuell Blvd.
