St. Petersburg police are looking for a driver who hit and killed a woman as she tried to cross Fourth Street North on Tuesday.

Kathy Repke, 63, was walking in a marked crosswalk on the 6900 block of Fourth Street North about 9:22 p.m. when she was struck by a vehicle, police said in a news release. The driver left the scene without helping Repke or calling police.

Repke was pronounced dead at Orlando Health Bayfront Hospital in St. Petersburg.

Detectives are trying to located Rosalyn Fuller, 58, who they believe has more information that could help with the investigation.

Police asked anyone with information about the crash or Fuller’s whereabouts to call 727-893-7780. To remain anonymous, text “SPPD + your tip” to TIP411.
