Eastsiders, brush your sweet tooth. Art's Bakery's long-awaited second location is ready to open Wednesday at 4625 Buffalo Road. "They used to have a location at the Urbaniaks store," said Art's co-owner Todd Sutton. "But it felt like it was still too far for North East and Harborcreek people. Downtown Pittsburgh restaurant ordered to close in recent health department report
Caravan on Smithfield Street in Downtown Pittsburgh was ordered to close after a recent inspection. A report from the Allegheny County Health Department on July 17 cites multiple violations found in the restaurant. This is the second time this year that Caravan has been ordered to close. Before the Cardinals series against the Braves happened, the talking heads on the radio were talking about how likely it was that the Cardinals would start the post-All Star break 2-4, and while there was some disagreement, it seemed to them more likely they would lose 2 of 3 to the Pirates than the Braves.
