Annual Meeting of the Members of IECA
The 2024 Annual Meeting of the Membership of Intercounty Electric Cooperative was held Friday, June 28, at the Licking Old City Park. The event began at 8 a.m. with a health fair and/or breakfast, served by the Raymondville Volunteer Fire Department. Mr. Moredock was born on January 2, 1947, in St. Louis, to the late William Watts Moredock, Jr. and Dorothy Francis (Lloyd) Moredock. He married Diana Sue Morgan in St. Louis on April 27, 1971.

She is survived by three daughters, Barbara Cottrell and her husband Michael, Christina Berry, all of Eldridge, and Ruth Christner of Port Charlotte, Fla.; a son, Clifford Lee Christner of Sleeper; three brothers, Chester Downing of Macks Creek, Gene Downing of Bolivar and Larry Downing of Hermitage; one sister, Barbara Downing of Iberia; eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

Rodney B. DeFrance, 73, of Waynesville, died Tuesday, July 2, 2024, in his home. He is survived by his son, Rodney of Minneapolis, Minn., and a cousin, Charlotte. Graveside services will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, July 10, 2024, at Missouri Veterans Cemetery in Waynesville, under the direction of Holman-Howe Funeral Home of Lebanon. A memorial has been established to the Waynesville VFW and donations may be left at the funeral home.
