Michelle Peters, a 47-year-old resident of Lebanon, MO, is currently being held without bond at the Laclede County Detention Center. She faces charges of first-degree domestic assault and armed criminal action.
Celebrating 90 years of life and 71 years together
Photo by Christy Porter Gerald and June Marion, both sprightly 90-year-olds, celebrated their birthdays (Gerald-June 19, 1934, and June-April 24, 1934) and an upcoming 71-years of marriage (October 10, 1953) on Saturday. The lively LHS graduates married at 19, and together they have shared a full and happy life, never having seemed to lose their enthusiasm and zest for life or each other. Gerald, a veteran and retired firefighter, and June, who joined her husband in his endeavors and eventually retired from civil service, share four children, David, Dee Ann, and twins, Dona and Lesa. Eighty-eight family and friends of all ages joined the fun celebration amidst smiles, laughter, memories, stories and a bountiful array of food and dessert. The Marions greatly enjoyed the day and the many beautiful cards.
