Lebanon woman accused of poisoning husband
Michelle Y. Peters, 47, of Lebanon has been charged with first-degree Domestic Assault and Armed Criminal Action, according to Laclede County Sheriff David Millsap. Peters is accused of secretly putting the chemical Roundup in her husband’s Mountain Dew on several occasions during May and June of this year. Lebanon woman accused of poisoning husband’s Mountain Dew because he ‘was not appreciative’
LEBANON, Mo. — A Lebanon woman is accused of poisoning her husband’s Mountain Dew two liters after being caught on video. According to court documents, Michelle Peters, 47, was arrested for first-degree assault and armed criminal action. She is currently in the Laclede County Detention Center with no bond.

The Show Me Gourd Annual Festival will be this weekend and will host gourd artists and their creations from across the country. The festival will be closed to society members on Friday but open to the public on Saturday and Sunday. “We just want to get the news out about gourds and what you can do with them,” Show Me Gourd Society President Madonna Watermon said. Ted J. Minnis, 59, of Eldridge, died Sunday, June 23, 2024, in Lebanon. He is survived by a son, Joseph Zumwalt of Elk City, Calif. and a sister, Mary Gomez of Oklahoma City, Okla. Arrangements are incomplete and will be announced by Holman-Howe Funeral Home of Lebanon.
