Richard Henry Meyer (December 15, 1928 - June 23, 2024)
Richard Henry Meyer, age 95, of Columbia formerly of Iberia, passed away on Sunday, June 23, 2024, at Harry S. Truman VA Memorial Hospital in Columbia. He was born in Evanston, Illinois, on December 15, 1928, son of the late Walter and Laurel (Doremus) Meyer. On March 1, 1969, Richard was united in marriage to Janet Tharp, who survives at their home.

Beulah evacuees help keep firefighters cool as they battle the Oak Ridge Fire
BEULAH, Colo. (KRDO)-- Evacuees forced to leave their homes because of the growing Oak Ridge Fire near Beulah are doing what they can to help firefighters stay cool. On Tuesday, four Beulah residents headed to the elementary school to help those who are protecting their community, despite being evacuees themselves.
