Puetz, Missouri S&T’s women’s Student-Athlete of the Year for the past season, was a second-team selection to the 53-member squad for the 2023-24 season and was one of 17 that did so with a 4.0 grade point average. City Council discusses ATV ordinance
The Lebanon City Council gave preliminary approval Monday to an ordinance that will allow additional types of vehicles on city streets. The Council gave first reading approval to the law that permits golf carts, all terrain vehicles and utility vehicles on city streets. The ordinance will need to be approved once more at a future council meeting to take effect. According to Lebanon Police Chief Jerry Harrison, Missouri statutes allow cities to enact an ordinance allowing the operation of golf carts, ATVs, and UTVs on city streets. Weekend of celebration at Boiling Springs
The Resort at Boiling Springs was filled with people this weekend, celebrating a Fourth of July Family Event. Many were camping, but others just came for the day, filling the campground as they enjoyed the activities Saturday afternoon and evening. The owners of the resort, Robert and Tina Comer, invited the community and offered free admission to the event.
City plans limited debris pickup
Limited curbside limb and brush pickup for storm debris will start on Monday, July 15, Mayor Jared Carr announced at Monday’s Lebanon City Council meeting. The city said pickup will cover the hardest-hit areas, including: South of Brice Street West of Harwood South of Millcreek Road Northwest of Elm Street North of Utah Street Up to the western city limit line.
Lebanon woman arrested with nearly a third of pound of methamphetamine
A Lebanon woman is arrested after about a third a pound of methamphetamine is found during a search of a home. The Lebanon Police Department says officers and members of the Lake Area Narcotics Enforcement Group conducted a consensual search of a home in the 1200 block of Millcreek Road Thursday afternoon. During the search, 15 grams of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia consistent with delivery of a controlled substance were seized.
