Laclede County man sentenced to probation and jail time for shooting woman & assaulting two jailers
A Laclede County man accused of shooting a woman then attacking two female law enforcement officers pleads guilty. Daniel Coleman, of Lebanon, pleaded guilty Monday in two separate cases. The first case involved the shooting which occurred last September at the home Coleman shared with the victim. The woman told police she was walking in the door from work when Coleman fired shots at her, penetrating one arm and grazing her collarbone. Coleman was arrested after an almost two-hour standoff.

Face painting, grilled hot dogs, Icees and popcorn were free to customers, and drawings were held for 60 prizes, including $1,000,000 (candy bar, that is)! An Independence Day photo background was also set up in the store. A special treat for all was the artwork by Belfiore, shown in the center of the photo, which was on display throughout the day.
