Michael Hunter “Tommy” Henson 79, of Richland, went home to heaven Saturday, June 29, 2024, in the Richland Care Center of Richland, Missouri. “Tommy” leaves behind to cherish his memory, his loving wife, Carol of their home in Richland; two sons, Michael Henson (Jennifer) of Richland, and Matt Henson of Lebanon; four grandchildren, Keegan, Carsyn, Caysie, and Kemper Henson; one brother, Gary Henson (Lucy) of Richland, Linda Jefferies of Richland, Beverly Elson (Harold) of Richland, Azalee Henson of Richland, Jessica Warren (Bill) of Richland, and Martha Burke-Wilson (Pete) of Stoutland; three sisters-in-law, Phyllis Henson of Richland, Peggy York and Kathy Sloan (Ray) all of Lebanon; one brother-in-law, David Miller (Beth) of Stoutland; numerous nieces, nephews, and a host of other relatives and many friends.
Antle retires
LICKING – July 1, 2024, marked the official retirement of Harv Antle, head baseball coach for the Licking Wildcats for the past eight years. Antle came to Licking in the fall of 2016 and taught social studies and PE in addition to his coaching duties. During his time at Licking, the Wildcat baseball program enjoyed a resurgence, breaking a 20-year drought of state tournament appearances.

Annual Meeting of the Members of IECA
The 2024 Annual Meeting of the Membership of Intercounty Electric Cooperative was held Friday, June 28, at the Licking Old City Park. The event began at 8 a.m. with a health fair and/or breakfast, served by the Raymondville Volunteer Fire Department. Four Rivers Community Health Center announced Tuesday that it has partnered with Dr. Yomi Olusanya to purchase Rolla Family Clinic and continue to provide acute walk-in care and primary care to the community. Four Rivers will retain all Rolla Family Clinic staff in this partnership, according to a press release.

Choices for People a regional leader for developmental disability services
A Friday ceremony at Rolla Lions Club Park proved graduation season didn’t completely end in May. Gathered were dozens direct service professionals who achieved their Missouri Talent Pathways accreditation with Choices for People. This was the third graduation Choices for People has hosted since last year, and the largest yet. Moreover, additional ceremonies are planned until Choices for People’s entire staff has graduated, including the 30 new planned hires who’ll be joining the organization by the end of next year.
