Beverly S. Massey, 78, of Lebanon, was born Friday, July 8, 1945, in Stoutland to Thomas Ivan and Verba Wheeler Marshall and died Tuesday, June 25, 2024, in Springfield. She is survived by her husband Tommie; one son, Thomas Massey and his wife Sherry of Lebanon; five grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; a son-in-law, Scott Kaper of Morgan; sisters-in-law, Beulah Smithey of Lee’s Summit, Shirlene Jones of Raytown, Linda Evans and Janet Scott, both of Lebanon.

Leonard Buttera, 58, of Lebanon, was born Oct. 29, 1965, in Kenosha, Wis. to Leonard and Mary (Vice) Buttera and died Saturday, June 22, 2024, in Lebanon. He is survived by his wife Tonie of Clinton; his mother, Mary; son, Kyle Buttera of Clinton; daughter, Kendra King and husband TJ of Clinton; four grandchildren; brothers, James Buttera, Donny Brown, Phillip Brown and Danny Brown, all of Springfield.

Dorothy Maxine Krouse, 97, of Crocker, was born March 24, 1927, at Ira, Mo. to Mark and Wilma (Potter) Claiborn and died Tuesday, June 25, 2024. She is survived by a daughter, Nancy Krouse of Austin, Minn.; a sister, Joyce Humphrey, and brothers, Bill Claiborn and Jerry Claiborn, all of Crocker.

Gerald W. Greenway
Gerald W. Greenway, of Rolla, Missouri, passed away on June 19, 2024, after a long illness. Gerald ("Jerry") was born on September 14, 1932, in Holcomb, Missouri, to Charles L. and Ada M. Walker Greenway. He was a graduate of Flint Central High School in Flint, Michigan. He also graduated from Michigan State University with a B.S. in Package Engineering in 1956 and an M.S. in Marketing in 1958. In 1975, he obtained an M.S. in Engineering from Rutgers New Brunswick and also graduated in 1987 with a Ph.D. in Food Science from the same university. His doctoral thesis was entitled "The Development of Freeze-Dried Coffee."
