A Phelps County man arrested at a Rolla hotel earlier this year with fentanyl and methamphetamine is sentenced to prison. Joseph Imes, of Rolla, pleaded guilty earlier this month to first-degree drug trafficking and possession of a controlled substance. In exchange for his plea, a charge of tampering with physical evidence was dismissed.

Donald “Don” Gene Weber was born on Nov. 5, 1963, to Dean and Mary (Barnhart) Weber, of Plato, and left this world and became present with the Lord on July 6, 2024, following a tough battle with cancer. He was 60 years of age. Don passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family, at home on his farm in Lynchburg.
