Brown Walks Off Rain-Soaked Saturday

With summer underway, the annual tradition of Cal Ripken Baseball Area tournaments is in full swing with Hudson beginning tournament season with a team in each of the 8U, 9U, 10U, and 11U age brackets, with the town being unable to field a 12U team this year. Post 27 Junior Legion Drops to 4-4 after Two Losses
The Londonderry American Legion Post 27 Baseball team’s week started on a high note, but two losses in the latter part of the week dropped the squad’s record to 4-4. On Monday night, June 17, at home, Post 27 fell behind early to Salem’s Post 63, but four runs in the fourth, followed by some strong pitching, secured the team’s fourth win of the season.
