The Hills Were Alive! Run Willamette 5K – Salem Hills
It was a beautiful June morning for the inaugural Run Willamette Salem Hills 5K. While I expected a hilly venue, this one was kind of epic! Just walking around the property before the race started was enough to start feeling those legs. Pre-race check in was quick and efficient. There were real bathrooms to use pre-race and parking was nice and close – thank goodness!

CSI Offseason Preview: Can the defensive tackles improve?
When Jay Hill took over as BYU's defensive coordinator, the immediate expectation was that BYU's pass rush and defensive line play would get better. Hill brought an aggressive scheme that depends on stout play at the line of scrimmage to be successful. In Year 1 of that new scheme, the results were.... disappointing. The Cougars gave up 4.86 yards per carry (113th in NCAAF) and finished the season with just 11 sacks (132 in NCAAF). That's not great, Bob!

PROVO, Utah – BYU football is looking to bounce back after a 5-7 campaign in its Big 12 debut a season ago. The underwhelming first impression in the Big 12 last year has put the Cougars near the bottom of the new 16-team league in the minds of media members.
Still hungry: BYU golfer Simon Kwon looking to defend Utah State Amateur title
When the 126th Utah State Amateur Championship gets to match play on Wednesday, there is one golfer that no one really wants to face — and who can blame them?. In the last two years, BYU junior Simon Kwon has won a stunning 11 of his 12 matches at the event.
