Man goes missing in Montco, last spotted in Philly, family says
Family members are searching for a man who they say went missing in Montgomery County and was last spotted in Philadelphia. Paul James Asman, 23, was near 321 Morris Road in Fort Washington, Pennsylvania, back on July 19, 2024, when he ran into the woods near Wissahickon Creek and Germantown Academy, his family said. Family members said he then boarded a train from Ambler, Pennsylvania, to Jefferson Station in Philadelphia. He was last seen that night at 7:43 p.m. walking towards the Fashion District in Center City, according to his family.

NORRISTOWN — An Upper Moreland Township man is headed to prison for domestic abuse after he choked, beat and stabbed a woman as they argued inside the apartment they shared. Fire erupts inside Dow facility in Bristol, Bucks County
Firefighters responded to a fire inside a Bucks County chemical plant on Friday morning.The fire happened around 10:30 a.m. in the Dow Research & Development facility at 310 George Patterson Blvd. adjacent to Dow's Bristol Croydon Operations site.The fire was brought under control at 1:20 p.m.Company officials say there is no impact to the community. A woman was ordered to stand trial Thursday, July 18, for the murder of a 72-year-old man in Wrightstown Township in October. Meghan Macklin, 46, of Philadelphia, was charged in March with the murder of Richard Scott MacFarland in his home at 55 Apple Hill Road.
