San Angelo Police Release Information Regarding Murder Suicide
SAN ANGELO, TX — The San Angelo Police Department has released information on a murder-suicide that took place in San Angelo last month. Information released states that on Tuesday, June 11, 2024, officers from the San Angelo Police Department responded to a call at approximately 10 a.m. at a residence in the 1000 block of East 21st Street for a welfare check.

SAN ANGELO, Texas — One driver was injured in a two-vehicle crash in the 3400 block of West Loop 306 frontage road at the College Hills Boulevard exit Wednesday. Officer C. Bradshaw with the San Angelo Police Department said a pickup truck on the access road came to a stop at a yield sign when the driver of a sedan behind it failed to control speed and hit the pickup truck.

Heroic Officers Receive Meritorious Life Saving Award
On an annual basis, the SAPD encourages their employees to nominate their fellow officers for meritorious awards. These nominations are first submitted to the nominated officer’s chain of command for review. Upon being reviewed by the officer’s chain of command, the nominations are then submitted to the “Meritorious Review Board” who then determine if Officer’s actions meet the criteria for a meritorious award. The “Meritorious Review Board” then makes their recommendation to the Chief of Police who would then ultimately determines if the Officer receives a meritorious award.
