First-Ever Adopt-a-Pet Day Finds Homes for 3,609 Pets
SACRAMENTO, CA (MPG) - California Animal Welfare Association (CalAnimals), the San Francisco Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (SF SPCA) and the ASPCA (The American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals) announced the results of the first-ever California Adopt-a-Pet Day, with 3,609 pets adopted into loving homes on June 1.
