A 52-year-old man was stabbed in the abdomen Friday after a fight with two men in the Corridor neighborhood, the San Diego Police Department said.

The stabbing was reported at 3:08 a.m. Friday in the 3400 block of University Avenue, according to SDPD Officer David O’Brien.

The suspects left the scene following the fight, the officer said.

One suspect was described as a 35- to 36-year-old man, 5-foot-6 and weighing 150 pounds, wearing a black hat, black shirt, blue jeans, O’Brien said. The other suspect was described as a man wearing a white shirt and blue jeans.

The victim was taken by ambulance to a hospital where he was treated for a stab wound that was not considered to be life-threatening, O’Brien said.

SDPD Mid City Division officers were handling the investigation.
