SAN DIEGO (FOX 5/KUSI) — The four people killed in a suspected DUI crash last week on state Route 163 have been identified.

Faruk Cetin, 27, Mahsun Dursun, 23, Abdurrezak Hizmali, 27, and Baris Savas, 25, died in the Kearny Mesa-area crash, the San Diego County Medical Examiner’s Office said on its website.

The collision occurred Friday around 1:28 a.m. on SR-163 southbound at Interstate 805. Authorities say the driver of a Toyota Tacoma crashed into the back of a Toyota Prius, causing the four people in the Prius to be ejected.

Following the crash, another Prius drove through the debris field and hit an unknown object.

Two of the four men inside the first Prius were pronounced dead at the scene, while the other two died at the hospital, according to CHP.

Aleim Alavez Garcia, 24, and Edward Frederick Poss, 32, the drivers of the Tacoma and second Prius, respectively, were arrested on suspicion of DUI of alcohol and/or drugs, authorities said. Both were taken to the hospital for medical clearance and booked into San Diego County Jail on multiple charges.

If anyone has information about the crash, they are asked to contact the CHP San Diego Area Office at 858-293-6000.
