The Warriors got a reality check Sunday night. They had a scorching hot first half against the Denver Nuggets before Denver pulled away from them in the fourth.

It marked the seventh-straight game the Nuggets have won over the Warriors, who had won 10 of their previous 12 games. It begs questions as to whether Golden State, despite improving massively, is a serious contender.

Jason Dumas of Kron 4 joined the Morning Roast Monday to discuss the 119-103 loss. He said the Warriors haven't proven they can win a series against an elite team.

"As it stands on February 26, no, the Warriors can't beat good teams," Dumas said. "That's not an opinion, that's just what the record says. Right now, they're 3-16 against teams with a win pace over 50 games. It's just not good."

His comments were in response to Draymond Green saying that he believed the Warriors were still title contenders. Dumas pointed out that good teams have beaten the Warriors "comfortably," but said that their road games against the Celtics and Knicks this week give them a chance to change that narrative.
