There are endless questions about the future of the Warriors heading into this pivotal summer. One of them is about the long-term future of head coach Steve Kerr.

Kerr gave an interview to NBC's Raj Mathai and discussed plenty of subjects, including what his future looks like, and if it may be coming to an end. He admitted that it could "maybe" end in two years, when his contract is up, but that it would be "very amicable.

With that in mind, the Morning Roast assessed the Warriors' future, and when Kerr could depart.

"Steve Kerr has been one of the greatest coaches in NBA history. Clearly the best Warrior coach in my life," Joe Shasky said. "It's not even close. Don Nelson was amazing, but he's nowhere near with Steve Kerr has accomplished. But the same thing that he said regarding like, there is a shelf life. I kind of feel him on that. And maybe he needs to recharge his battery. I wonder how many more years he has left with the Warriors."

Bonta Hill said the prospect of the dynasty fading is disheartening.

"The end is near for this current regime of the Golden State Warriors," Hill said. "The end is near. Could it be after next season? It's possible. Could it be after two years? It's possible. Maybe he rides out with Steph and Dray. It is possible. But when you start to hear that stuff like damn, we're not talking championships no more. We're not talking about playing in June. We're just discussing just trying to end on a good note. It's saddens me a little bit."
