Santiago Vescovi signs with Golden State

Former Tennessee men’s basketball guard Santigo Vescovi signed with the Golden State Warriors .

Vescovi was not selected in the 2024 NBA draft . He played at Tennessee from 2019-24.

The former Vol averaged 10.3 points per game during his five-year career at Tennessee. He was a two-time first-team All-SEC selection and holds the school record with 212 career steals.

Vescovi, a native of Uruguay, also holds the career record for starts (144). He is the only player in school history to record more than 1,500 points, 500 rebounds, 400 assists and 200 steals.

Vescovi will play for the Warriors in the 2024 NBA Summer League . The Warriors will compete in both the California Classic Presented by CarMax at Chase Center in San Francisco, California (July 6-10) and the NBA 2K25 Summer League, which takes place July 12-22 in Las Vegas, Nevada.
