Golden State Warriors star Steph Curry got emotional as he bid his farewell to his Splash Bro. Klay Thompson.

Thompson officially put an end to his run with the Warriors after agreeing to a three-year, $50 million deal with the Dallas Mavericks in free agency. The Dubs helped facilitate the deal via sign-and-trade and got two second-round picks in return.

As Thompson prepares for a new chapter in his career, away from Golden State, Curry made sure to let him know that he will be missed.

On his Instagram Story, Curry uploaded a series of photos showing him and Thompson throughout the years. Most of the photos came from their championship years, as well as team travels and practices.

Sure enough, as Curry made that trip down memory lane, it's hard for any fan who followed their careers closely hold back their tears. The two have been playing together for 13 years since Thompson made it to the NBA in 2011.

At the end of the post, Steph Curry also sent an emotional farewell message for Klay Thompson, thanking him for everything he has done for him and the Warriors. Together, Steph and Klay propelled the Dubs to four championships.

"Gonna miss you [Klay Thompson]," Curry wrote. "Even though we won't finish the journey together, what we did will never be done again. Couldn't have imagined a better run with you and [Draymond Green].

"Changed the whole Bay Area. Changed the way the game is played. Killa Klay at the center of it all. Thank you for everything bro. Go enjoy playing basketball and doing what you do."

It's definitely an emotional time for Curry. Many had hoped that he, Thompson and Draymond Green would play their whole careers with the Warriors. Unfortunately, that will no longer happen.
