Charles Barkley doesn't have high hopes for the Golden State Warriors heading into the 2024-25 NBA season.

Earlier this week at the American Century Celebrity Golf Championship Tournament, the Basketball Hall of Famer was asked to weigh in with his outlook on the Warriors' upcoming campaign.

In his response, Barkley signaled an end to the Warriors' dynasty.

"They've got a mediocre team. They were mediocre last year, they're going to be even more mediocre next year," Barkley said. "They're just all past their prime. That run is over."

The Warriors finished the 2023-24 NBA season with a disappointing 46-36 record, capped off by a Play-In Tournament loss to the Sacramento Kings.

Golden State lost both Klay Thompson (Dallas Mavericks) and Chris Paul (San Antonio Spurs) in free agency this offseason. The team's biggest addition so far this offseason is the acquisition of Buddy Hield from the Philadelphia 76ers.

Steph Curry, Draymond Green, and the Warriors will look to prove Barkley wrong when they take the court for another NBA season in October.
