Women’s basketball icon Cheryl Miller was on the sidelines at the Footprint Center in Phoenix on Saturday night to coach Team WNBA in the 2024 WNBA All-Star Game. And she coached the team to victory while wearing some fresh sneakers.

Miller — the first-ever head coach of the Phoenix Mercury — returned the city as the Team WNBA coach with a pair of Nike Dunks laced up. Team WNBA defeated Team USA — comprised of members of the Olympic roster — in the 2024 WNBA All-Star Game on Saturday, 117-109. Arike Ogunbowale, who set the WNBA All-Star scoring record with 34 points, was named the game’s Most Valuable Player.

The Nike Dunk wasn’t the only sneaker of note Miller wore over WNBA All-Star Weekend. Miller is an undeniable basketball icon, having won Naismith Player of the Year honors while at the University of Southern California three times, also winning the NCAA title twice and being named NCAA Tournament Most Outstanding Player on two separate occasions.
