A 60-year-old bicyclist was killed in San Jose on Friday after colliding with one vehicle and being struck by another, police said.

Thomas Andrew Morrey, who was from San Jose, collided with the rear of a truck and fell into the intersection of East Julian and North 10th streets around noon Friday, according to the San Jose Police Department. While in the road, Morrey was struck by a second vehicle and was transported to a hospital with life-threatening injuries.

He died later that day, according to the Santa Clara County Medical Examiner's Office.

The drivers of both vehicles are cooperating with the investigation, police added. This is San Jose's 26th traffic fatality of the year.
