Pre-sale tickets available for Santa Cruz County Fair
WATSONVILLE, Calif. — The Santa Cruz County Fair has announced that special pre-sale tickets and ticket packages are now available for the public to purchase. Pre-sale tickets cost less than tickets at the gate, with special ticket packages including deals on admission, parking and carnival wristbands. Buying pre-sale carnival wristbands will save you $5.

City of Soledad to make Improvements on Front Street
The City of Soledad is making significant progress in meeting its goals of providing excellent street conditions throughout the city. In addition to the Crack Seal maintenance project starting this month of July, Front Street will also have work done to it. As part of this project, the City will address the pavement conditions along Front Street (between Nestles Road and Moranda Road), replacing the problematic concrete sidewalks, curb and gutter, and drainage issues. Traffic Safety and site distance will also be incorporated into this project to ensure a safe corridor for all roadway users. Additionally, this project will include art, landscape refresh, lighting, and sidewalk amenities.
