    Six Flags and Cedar Point merge to form largest amusement park operator

    Six Flags Entertainment Corporation says its merger with Cedar Fair Entertainment company has formed the “largest” amusement park operator in North America.

    The combined company will operate 42 parks across the U.S., Canada and Mexico. The merged company includes Cedar Point in Sandusky, Ohio, and Six Flags in Gurnee, Illinois.

    Tyson is pulling back on antibiotic-free beef

    Tyson foods has ended a program with the Certified Angus Beef company in Ohio to market antibiotic-free beef.

    Sources tell Bloomberg the company informed one of its customers that it would no longer be able to supply beef without antibiotics. This follows a similar move the company made last year with its chicken.

    In a statement to Bloomberg, Tyson says it continues to offer antibiotic-free beef based on market demand.

    Google says greenhouse gas emissions have grown 48%

    Google just released its latest environmental report showing its greenhouse gas emissions grew 48% in the past five years.

    It’s due to soaring energy demand for data centers used for artificial intelligence.

    Three years ago, Google set an ambitious plan to address climate change by going net zero, so this report shows Google is nowhere near its goal. But despite that, Google has also been increasing its usage of renewable power.

    McDonald’s launches specialty dipping sauce

    McDonald’s new special grade garlic sauce is inspired by and in collaboration with the Japanese manga series “Jujutsu Kaisen.”

    However, there is a catch: You can only get the new sauce through the McDonald’s app.
