Montgomery man sentenced to 15 years for fatal crash
A Montgomery man is being sentenced to fifteen years in prison for the death of a passenger in his vehicle after a crash in 2022. The Kendall County State's Attorney's Office says 28-year-old Saul Muro Jr. fled from a traffic stop near Boulder Hill, crashed into a tree, and then fled the scene on foot. The front seat passenger, 26-year-old Jose A. Cardoza Chavez, of Montgomery, was killed in the crash. Muro was arrested later.

WJOL is exclusively reporting that Prime Healthcare is acquiring Ascension’s 9 hospitals in Illinois including Ascension St. Joseph Medical Center in Joliet. Staff will be told on a conference call this morning. Prime Healthcare has locations is in 14 states with 44 hospitals and more than 300 outpatient locations.
